The Parent Council is a group of parents selected by members of the Parent Forum to represent all parents and children at the school.
To promote partnership between the school which provides education and learning for 3-18, its students, parents and guardians and the wider community.
To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils.
To identify and represent the views of parents to the School's Senior Management Team and the Education authority on the standards of learning provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.
As the parent or guardian of a child in attendance at Lochgilphead High School, you are automatically a member of what is called the Parent Forum for the school.
