Wellbeing support at Lochgilphead Joint Campus is enhanced by the working partnership we have with The Exchange.
Our Exchange counsellor, Bea, is in school several times per week and has a space in the Den. She meets pupils who have been referred - either via self referral or through referral by education/health or other agencies - and is planning a series of activities to support pupils preparing for exams, for example.
In partnership with the Local Authority Exchange Families will be offering their Parent Support Project to Parents and Carers in Argyll & Bute from January 2025.
Parents/Carers can self-refer for support by signing up via the website, here: Families | Exchange Counselling and this will allow you to book a space on the Parent/Carer Workshops. Referrals are also accepted from Education, Health or other Agencies working with Parents/Carers and the therapist- led workshops are designed to offer guidance and support to Parents/Carers to allow them to support their children with the most common reasons for referral to the sister service, Exchange Counselling.
Bookings are now open on the Exchange Families website and further information can be found below.
