Lochgilphead serves many rural communities in Mid Argyll, from historic Inveraray in the East of the cluster, stunning Ardfern in the north and south toward the start of the Kintyre peninsula. We have areas of outstanding natural beauty and significant historic and scientific interest. It is the perfect place for walkers, water sports enthusiasts, artists, musicians, mountain bikers and entrepreneurs to live and bring up families. Many of us grew up in the area and are immensely proud, and others have decided to come here from all parts of the UK and beyond to take advantage of life in Mid Argyll.
The campus that serves the whole community comprises a nursery, primary, high school and learning centre so there are career opportunities for almost everybody interested in working with children and young people. We employ primary, secondary and special ed. teachers, childcare and education workers, additional support needs assistants, classroom assistants, clerical staff, technicians, catering staff and, through our facilities partner, Mitie, custodial staff.
Our values are Ambition, Collaboration, Resilience and Well-being and we always aim to keep these at the heart of all we do.
