Modern Studies

National Qualifications in Modern Studies provide a range of learning contexts in areas such as UK Politics, the study of inequalities and crime as well as looking at a ruling World Power.

Modern Studies encourages pupils to develop a greater understanding of the modern world and their place in it. They also have opportunities to develop their own believes and examine the attitudes of others. Modern studies encourages openness to new thinking and ideas; and a sense of responsibility and global citizenship.
